Fall Cocktail is approaching soon and with it means one of final traditions the last class of Peace College will be able to partake in. In August, 2012 Peace College changed its name to William Peace University and transfigured into a co-educational institution. Though the move was controversial and sparked many responses, some traditions have remained. One of them is Fall Cocktail.

“I remember my freshman year I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go but my Peace sisters convinced me and I had one of the best nights,” said Meghan Luffman.

Luffman is a part of the last class of Peace College, and also a member of the Volleyball Team, Resident Life and amongst student leaders on campus.

“Fall Cocktail is a Peace Tradition where you can dress up and have fun with your fellow peace brothers and sisters,” added Luffman.

This year’s theme is “Glitz and Glam” The dance will take place on October 24, 2014 at 8pm until midnight.

“Fall Cocktail is a great time to take a break from your chaotic schedules, and have good fun amongst your peers,” said Luffman.

The final Fall Cocktail for the ladies of Peace College will take place at the Downtown Raleigh Sheraton.
